Boum is an intelligent watering system that takes care of watering for you. At its heart are a smart controller and a large water tank with a water level sensor that tells you when to refill.

With precise drippers, you can easily get started with your existing pots, raised beds or garden. Unlike other systems, Boum doesn't simply follow a fixed schedule. It adjusts watering to your plants, setup and the weather. That's good for your plants and saves water.
Expand with Boum pots.
If you like, you can expand your system later with our special Boum pots. These use nature-inspired wick watering to water plants from below. This reduces evaporation, saves water and leads to healthy plants with high yields.
It also works without the app.
Boum takes care of your plants automatically. After setup, there's nothing more to adjust or monitor – the system simply runs in the background. If you like, you can check in at any time or get reminders when it's time to top up the water.

How much does the Boum irrigation system cost?
That depends on what you're looking for. Our configurator lets you build your own system to suit your needs, choosing the tank size and watering method (Boum pots or drippers) that work best for you. Our starter sets are another option. The most affordable bundle is available for CHF/EUR 179.
How much water does the boum irrigation system use?
The Boum Tank holds 32 (Core), 35 or 55 (Pro) litres. In midsummer, an outdoor Boum pot uses an average of 0.5 – 1 L of water per day, while a plant in a conventional pot or in the ground uses a little more. This means that with 3 Boum plants, you'll need to refill the 35 L tank every 2 – 4 weeks in summer, with 5 pots every 1 – 2 weeks, and so on. Naturally, the larger the plant, the more water it uses. Indoors, a pot uses around 0.1 L of water per day. A full tank therefore lasts several weeks to months.
How do I install the Boum system?
