This dwarf maple is a perennial plant and comes in a 7 liter container. It can be planted directly into the Boum system and grows optimally with the Boum soil and irrigation.

The trees are pre-grown by our partner nursery and delivered to your home conveniently and securely packaged from March 2024.

At the time of delivery, the tree is approximately 70 - 80 cm tall. Depending on the season, the plant may be pruned back. However, the plant will recover quickly in the Boum system.

Lighting conditions

The dwarf maple (Acer palmatum) prefers a semi-shady to sunny location. Make sure that the dwarf maple is not exposed to excessive heat and dryness. Also make sure that the pot is not exposed to too much wind, otherwise it may fall over.

With the Boum system, the dwarf maple (Acer palmatum) automatically receives the optimum amount of water without water logging or the plant drying out.
If you do not have a Boum system, you should water the plant regularly so that it has evenly moist soil without water logging. The plant is frost-hardy and perennial and can stay outside all winter.
