The problem: Cities are becoming too hot due to climate change, they offer little habitat for nature, and they often offer a low quality of life. The solution: More plants, close to people. On balconies and terraces, on windowsills and in house entrances. Plants are good for the climate, they bring nature back, they reduce stress and make people happy. Boum makes it easier to reliably water plants in everyday life. This way, more balconies, terraces and windowsills can be greened.
How we work
We develop products that make growing plants in urban spaces more efficient and easier. To do this, we combine ecology, technology, and good product design to develop solutions that function reliably and allow plants to be grown without constant care.
What we do
Our products solve some of the typical problems with plants: irregular watering, lack of knowledge, and the wrong setup. For this, we have developed an irrigation system that adapts to potted plants and works reliably in everyday life. Together with suitable soil, good plant tips, and an app that provides support when needed, plant care becomes significantly easier.
