Boum potting soil is a blend we developed specifically for the Boum watering system. It is made entirely from by-products of Swiss forestry and agriculture and is free from environmentally harmful peat and coconut coir. It is approved for organic growing, provides optimal capillary action for wick watering and is pre-fertilised with organic fertiliser.
A layer of mulch, which can be spread over the soil, reduces water loss, prevents surface crusting and helps against fungus gnats.
Ideal for the Boum Core pot 13 L, Boum Pro pot 15 L, Boum Pro pot 30 L and Boum Pro balcony planter. Depending on the size of the plants, one pack is enough for 1-2 Boum planters.
Suitable for herbs, vegetables, flowers and perennial plants.
Delivery (subject to availability) usually takes 1 - 5 days.
Ideal for the Boum pot
Usable for several years and produced in Switzerland
Optimised for wick watering
Boum potting soil is a proprietary blend optimized for wick irrigation. Structural elements like wood fibers and pebbles prevent the soil from compacting, allowing water to distribute evenly and roots to spread.
