The persimmon tree, also known as the persimmon tree, is one of the oldest cultivated plants and originates from China. The plant produces green leaves that turn orange or yellow in the fall. The plant prefers a warm, sunny location and should be protected from frost in winter.

The persimmon tree is a perennial plant. It can be planted directly into the Boum system and grows optimally with Boum soil and irrigation. The trees are pre-grown by our partner nursery and delivered conveniently and safely to your home.

At the time of delivery, the tree is approximately 150-200 cm tall, so the plant is shipped on a pallet. Depending on the season, the plant may be pruned. However, in the Boom system, the plant will recover quickly.

Note: Due to the size of the root ball and the height, we only recommend this tree for the Boum Pot 30L Pro.

The persimmon prefers a sunny location. Make sure the pot isn't exposed to too much wind, as it could otherwise topple over.
The persimmon is sensitive to pruning and should therefore only be pruned in exceptional cases and in August.

With the Boum system, the persimmon automatically receives the optimal amount of water without waterlogging or the plant drying out.
If you don't have a Boum system, you should water the plant regularly to ensure it has evenly moist soil without waterlogging. The plant is relatively frost-hardy and perennial, and should be placed against a house wall for some protection during the winter.
