The deeply cut, purple leaves of the dwarf maple "Marie" turn bright red in autumn and make it a real eye-catcher! A very popular ornamental tree that fits on any balcony.

This dwarf maple is a perennial plant and comes in a 7 liter container. It can be planted directly into the Boum system and grows optimally with the Boum soil and irrigation.

The trees are grown by our partner nursery and delivered to your home conveniently and safely packaged.

At the time of delivery, the tree is approximately 70 - 80 cm high. Depending on the season, the plant may be cut back. However, in the Boum system, the plant will recover quickly.

Lighting conditions

Sun to partial shade

The dwarf maple (Acer palmatum) prefers a semi-shady to sunny location. Make sure that the dwarf maple is not exposed to excessive heat and dryness. Also make sure that the pot is not exposed to too much wind, otherwise it could topple over. The dwarf maple is sensitive to pruning and should therefore only be pruned in exceptional cases and only in August.

Moist

With the Boum system, the dwarf maple (Acer palmatum) automatically receives the optimum amount of water without waterlogging or the plant drying out.
If you do not have a Boum system, you should water the plant regularly so that it has evenly moist soil without water logging. The plant is frost-hardy and perennial and can stay outside all winter.
