The pillar apple tree only forms very short side shoots and therefore grows very narrowly upwards. The yellow fruits hang directly from the trunk and are wonderfully crunchy and sweet and aromatic.

The dwarf apple tree is a perennial plant. It can be planted directly into the Boum system and grows optimally with the Boum soil and irrigation.

The trees are grown several years in advance by our partner nursery and delivered to your home conveniently and securely packaged from March 2024. As these are naturally grown young plants, the number of flowers and fruit set may vary during shipping.

The pillar apple tree (Malus) prefers a bright and sunny location in order to grow optimally and produce fruit.
If you do not have a Boum system, it may be necessary to water the plant several times a week during the summer months. The columnar apple is frost-hardy and can therefore be left outside over the winter.

With the Boum system, the columnar apple tree (Malus) automatically receives the optimum amount of water without waterlogging or the plant drying out.
If you do not have a Boum system, you should water the plant regularly so that it has evenly moist soil without waterlogging.
