The ginkgo is an elegant and exotic plant that originally comes from the Far East, but has been native to us for several hundred years. Its radial-shaped leaves are something very special in the plant kingdom and it is not without reason that they serve as a model for many pieces of jewelry.

The ginkgo is a perennial plant. It can be planted directly into the Boum system and grows optimally with the Boum soil and irrigation.

The trees are grown several years in advance by our partner nursery and delivered to your home safely packaged. As these are naturally grown young plants, the number of flowers and fruit set may vary on delivery.

The ginkgo prefers a bright and sunny location in order to grow optimally and form fruit. If you do not have a Boum system, it may be necessary to water the plant several times a week during the summer months. The ginkgo is frost-hardy and can therefore remain outside during the winter.

Moist to Fresh

With the Boum system, the Ginkgo (Ginkgo biloba) receives the optimum amount of water automatically, without waterlogging or drying out the plant. If you don't have a Boum system, you should water the plant regularly so that it has evenly moist soil without waterlogging.
