In this post, we'll show you how to remove the T-piece from a pot if you've accidentally installed it incorrectly. In the app, you'll find detailed step-by-step instructions, including videos.
Detaching the T-piece from the float valve
If you have incorrectly attached the T-piece to the float valve, you can remove it with the Boum Tool or an angular object such as the side of a knife.
First, tighten the nut of the float valve as much as possible. This will increase the gap between the nut and the T-piece, making it easier to remove.

Now insert the fork of the Boum Tool or the blade of a knife into the gap between the nut and the T-piece and press against the T-piece several times from different directions.

Note: Make sure that you do not press on the small protruding ring of the T-piece with the Boum Tool or the knife, but rather grip between the nut and the T-piece.
Now you can easily detach the T-piece from the float valve and install it correctly.
