Self-sufficient thanks to water tank.
The tank holds 35 liters of water. You only refill it every few weeks. The solar-powered controller is located in the lid and keeps the irrigation running automatically. This ensures your plants continue to be supplied with water even when you are away for a few days.
Smart controller.
The controller is located directly in the tank lid and works together with the pump. It automatically keeps the water supply running so that your plants are regularly supplied. You only need to refill water every few weeks. If you want, you can check the app or set up reminders for when water is needed.
The plant takes what it needs.
At the bottom of the pot is a water reservoir, with soil above it. Wicks connect the two. This allows each plant to draw exactly as much water as it needs, just like in nature. This keeps the soil moisture consistent and is good for the plants.
Boum is refilling.
Boum automatically refills the pot and keeps the supply running. A float valve regulates the water supply. Everything is connected with Quick Connect.

How often do I need to refill the water tank?
In midsummer, a pot outdoors uses an average of 0.5 - 1 litre of water per day. This means that with 3 pots you fill up the tank approximately every 3 weeks, and with 5 pots approximately every 2 weeks.
Indoors, a pot uses about 0.1 L of water per day all year round.
How many Boum pots can I connect to one watering system?
You can connect up to 20 planters to one water tank. A pot uses around 0.5 - 1 L of water per day outdoors in midsummer, and around 0.1 L per day indoors all year round.
Does Boum work without Wi-Fi?
Yes. The irrigation must be connected to the WLAN once for configuration. It then works autonomously, even without WiFi. In this case, no sensor data is displayed in the app.
Can I use my own plant pots?
Yes. Use Boum drip irrigation for this (e.g. Outdoor starter set M).
Which soil should I use?
For outdoor plants, we recommend the Boum potting soil, which was specially developed for Boum irrigation and Boum plants. You can also use your own soil. It is important that it has a good connection to the wicks and draws the water up into the upper layers.
For houseplants we recommend Boum houseplant soil.
Which plants can I grow with the irrigation system?
We have successfully tested the Boum system with many different indoor and outdoor plants. The system is particularly suitable for plants that like to grow in moist soil. Plants that prefer dry soil (e.g. succulents) are less suitable. If you order plants from us, you are on the safe side - they are definitely suitable for the system.
