The control system - the heart of Boum
Boum was developed for several weeks of automatic plant watering without daily manual effort – for holidays, long weekends, or everyday use during hot summer days.
The heart of every Boum watering system is a water tank and the solar-powered controller placed on top (1). Together, they provide your plants with a reliable and consistent water supply – whether in existing pots, Boum pots, raised beds, or in the garden.
An irrigation system for all your plants
The water tank serves as the central water store. Depending on the model, Boum tanks hold between 32 and 55L of water (you can also use your own/larger tank).
The solar-powered controller sitting on top supplies your plants with water - from below in Boum pots, and from above in your own pots.
Boom pot
The Boum pot works with wick irrigation, where water reaches the plants from below. The plant never sits directly in water, yet always has water available.
Drip irrigation for pots and beds
You can easily water your existing potted plants automatically from above. Simply insert the drippers next to the plants and connect them in series to the controller.
The right automatic irrigation for all your plants
If you don't have pots yet or are ready to repot your existing plants, we recommend Boum pots (2). Here, plants are watered from below via wicks - water-saving and completely self-regulating.
Existing plants in pots (3), raised beds (4), or in the garden are supplied with water via drip irrigation. An adaptive irrigation algorithm continuously calculates the required amount of water and adjusts the automatic watering based on weather, plants, and other factors.
No matter how you start: you can add more pots or drippers to your system at any time!
Boom pot
The Boum pot works with wick irrigation, where water reaches the plants from below. It is the most water-efficient and completely self-regulating.
Drip irrigation for pots
You can easily automate the watering of your existing potted plants with Boum. To do this, the pots are retrofitted with drippers and supplied with water as needed.
Drip irrigation for raised beds and gardens
You can easily retrofit raised beds and garden beds with drip irrigation and water them automatically using Boum.
An irrigation system for all your plants
The water tank serves as a central water reservoir. The solar-powered control unit automatically supplies your plants with water and continuously adjusts the irrigation to the current weather.

You only need to use the app as much as you like. In it, you can see the real-time water level in the tank, your water consumption over time, chat directly with us, and much more.
