We don't believe in mass-produced goods. We only offer plants that thrive in our system and don't wither shortly after planting. Not every plant is suitable for our innovative system, which is why we proceed with particular care to find the perfect plants for your home. Together with local nurseries, we select only robust, beautifully grown plants. We only want specimens that feel comfortable in our pots and containers.
Intensive testing phase
Instead of directly incorporating plants into our assortment, they are thoroughly examined and tested. For several months, we observe how they behave in our system, whether irrigation, substrate, and pots fit. If a plant grows and thrives even after months, it harmonizes with our system. Only then do we add it to our assortment. This way, we ensure that you will enjoy your flourishing home for a long time.

After all, it makes a big difference whether you want to green a shady terrace or a sunny balcony. Our Boum app already knows over 3,500 different plant species and helps you.
Smart Control: The Boum app takes over gardening
Once the plants have moved in, the Boum app really comes into its own. It helps you to create the best conditions for your plants at all times and, together with our irrigation system, takes almost all the work off your hands. The sensors send all important data to the app, which you can monitor at any time. In addition, it provides you with the most important information – exactly when you need it:
- Irrigation reminder: Is the water tank empty? No problem, the app will notify you in good time.
- Fertilizing made easy: The app notifies you when a plant needs nutrients.
- Weather warnings: Is frost threatening? The app warns you beforehand.

Annoyed, you eventually pick something that somewhat matches your home's style – hoping that the plant will feel comfortable in its location at all.
Unfortunately, not every combination of soil, pot, plant, and irrigation works equally well. Often, there's a lot of trial and error. This can be incredibly frustrating – especially when plants die. If you've experienced this a few times, there's a high chance that the balcony garden or green terrace will be completely given up.
