The tank holds 55 litres of water. But the real magic lies in the solar-powered controller. It seals the tank and is the brain of the system. Its built-in pump waters your plants daily, for up to 30 days without refilling.
So you don't have to worry about your plants while you're on holiday - Boum takes care of them. And thanks to the Wi-Fi connection, you can keep an eye on your plants from anywhere. Sensors measure water consumption and the balcony climate and send notifications in the Boum App, keeping you and your plants happy throughout the year.

Self-regulating planters
Boum's designer planters, available as pots and balcony planters, have a unique feature: capillary wicks that draw water from the pot's built-in reservoir to maintain optimal soil moisture.
With Boum planters, you can grow trees, vegetables, herbs, flowers and shrubs – with beautiful results that surpass anything you can achieve with conventional pots! The pots connect to the water tank via a discreet, easy-to-install hose, providing a fully automatic water supply for several weeks. Boum pots are made from an 80 % recycled mineral-plastic blend with a hand finish. They are decorative, impact- and break-resistant, easy to move, and resistant to UV and frost.

The self-regulating, calibrated wick irrigation system ensures constant soil moisture. A float valve regulates the water supply. A quick-connect connector allows for easy hose connection.

Wie oft muss ich den Wassertank nachfüllen?
Das kommt ganz auf die Anzahl angeschlossener Boum Töpfe oder eigener Töpfe sowie aufs Wetter darauf an.
Wie viele Töpfe kann ich an ein Bewässerungssystem anschliessen?
Wir empfehlen bis maximal 25 Tropfer für eigene Töpfe an ein System anzuschliessen. Zusätzlich kannst du auch Boum Töpfe anschliessen. Hier gibt es eigentlich keine Limitierung. Um den Tank nicht zu oft auffüllen zu müssen, empfehlen wir bis ca. 12 Boum Töpfe an den 32L Tank Core und 35L Tank Pro, sowie bis zu ca. 20 Boum Töpfe an den 55L Tank Pro.
Funktioniert Boum auch ohne WLAN?
Ja. Die Bewässerung muss einmalig ans WLAN angeschlossen werden zur Konfiguration. Anschliessend funktioniert sie autonom, auch ohne WLAN. In diesem Fall werden in der App keine Sensordaten angezeigt.
Kann ich meine eigenen Blumentöpfe verwenden?
Ja! Die Boum Tröpfchenbewässerung ist spezifisch für die Bewässerung von bereits bestehenden Töpfen ausgelegt. Du kannst diese ganz einfach nachrüsten. Du kannst gleichzeitig auch unsere speziellen Boum Töpfe mit Dochtbewässerung anschliessen und mit deinen eigenen Töpfen kombinieren.
Welche Erde soll ich verwenden?
In den Boum Töpfen empfehlen wir die Boum Pflanzenerde, die speziell für die Dochtbewässerung entwickelt wurde. Du kannst aber auch eine eigene Erde verwenden. Wichtig ist dass diese einen guten Bodenschluss zu den Dochten hat und das Wasser in die oberen Schichten hochzieht. Bei eigenen Töpfen empfehlen wir ebenfalls unsere struktur- und nährstoffreiche Boum Pflanzenerde.

Welche Pflanzen kann ich mit dem Bewässerungssystem anbauen?
Wir haben das Boum System mit vielen verschiedenen Indoor- und Outdoor Pflanzen erfolgreich getestet. Das System eignet sich besonders gut für Pflanzen, die gerne im feuchten Boden wachsen. Trockeliebende Pflanzen (z.B. Sukkulenten) eignen sich etwas weniger gut.
