While all regular damage to your Boum control unit and Boum pots is covered by the warranty, in rare cases the control unit can be damaged through user error, for example, if it has been exposed to sub-zero temperatures. In such a case, or in the case of other user-inflicted damage (e.g., improper handling), we will repair the control unit in our repair shop at cost.
The customer is responsible for shipping costs to us; returns are free of charge within 7 working days via Boum.
We reserve the right to send a refurbished control unit as a replacement in individual cases (e.g., if the damage is too extensive or a repair is not practical).
As a special service, we offer to take over the annual descaling of the control unit, which may be necessary in regions with very hard water.
