Feurige Chili Paste und getrocknete Chili 🌶️

This year you've transformed your balcony into a small urban gardening oasis with Boum's smart watering system 🪴. But now you have so many chilis that you don't know what to do with them? With this chili paste recipe 🌶️ you can add some excitement to any of your dishes.

fiery chili paste

Ingredients:

  • 1 onion
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 1 tomato
  • 1 pepper
  • your chilis
  • Honey, balsamic vinegar, salt and pepper to taste

How it works

  1. Chop 1 onion and 2 cloves of garlic.
  2. Next, take 1 pepper, 1 tomato and your chilies and cut them into large pieces.
  3. Take a pot and heat about 1 dl of olive oil.
  4. Then sauté the chopped onion and garlic until they are translucent.
  5. Then take the chili-pepper-tomato mixture and put it in the pot. Let it all soften for a few minutes over medium heat.
  6. Season the soft vegetables with a little honey, balsamic vinegar, salt and pepper, then mix everything well.
  7. Finally, you can mix the contents of the pot thoroughly with a hand blender or stand mixer until the desired consistency is achieved.

Depending on how hot your chilis are, you can use them for different dishes. If they are rather hot like our Habanero chilis , the paste also makes a delicious hot sauce. If they are rather sweet, you can use the chili paste as a tasty spread or pasta sauce 🍝. The chili paste is also a delicious addition to meat. Enjoy!

Dried chili

If you would like to spice up your dishes a little now and then, you can preserve your freshly harvested chilies. In this video, we show you the best way to dry them. This way, you can enjoy the harvest from your balcony all year round!

How it works
