Boum Core - smart wick irrigation for beginners
Boum Core is the perfect entry point into the Boum world, utilizing our special wick irrigation system to always provide your plants with precisely the right amount of water. The starter set includes two pots, a water reservoir, and of course the Boum controller – a smart, solar-powered pump.
The Boum Core pots are made from lightweight PP material and are ideal for smaller city balconies or seating areas, reliably watering your herbs, vegetables and flowers.
Boum Pro - smart wick irrigation with premium pots
Boum Pro also uses our proprietary wick irrigation system, but in addition to efficiency, it is also designed for style and aesthetics. The starter set includes a pot, a water tank, and the Boum control unit – a smart, solar-powered pump.
The Boum Pro pots are made from a material mix of 80% recycled PP and PET, as well as stone flour – for a robust, high-quality feel. Thanks to their elegant appearance, stability, and size, they are perfect for balconies, patios, and indoor spaces, reliably providing a suitable environment for everything from vegetables to small trees.
Boum Drip - smart drip irrigation for your own pots
Boum Drip is a smart drip irrigation system that waters your plants more efficiently and with less water than conventional drip systems. Our smart control uses an adaptive algorithm that automatically adjusts the amount of water according to the weather.
The starter set includes the Boum controller (solar-powered, smart pump), as well as tubing and drippers for up to 20 plants. Ideal for anyone who wants to keep their own pots but still benefit from smart, automated watering.

Thanks to Boum Drip, you can water your existing pots smartly and in a water-saving way. The Boum control system, with its proprietary algorithm, adjusts the pump duration to the number of connected pots, the plants used, and the weather. Only Boum offers this feature!

Who is Boum Drip suited for?
Boum Drip was designed for people who want to equip their existing pots with smart irrigation.
With Boum Drip, we finally have a smart irrigation system for everyone who doesn't want to give up their own pots. You can equip up to 20 of your own pots with our drippers, and the app will then suggest the ideal pumping duration to ensure all plants are watered sufficiently while conserving water. Naturally, it's solar-powered and connected to the app.

Do the Boum lines have different control systems?
No, all Boum lines have the same smart control system, which includes a solar-powered pump and additional sensors for measuring water level, solar radiation and weather data.
Which Boum line is most suitable for me?
It all depends on your needs. For beginners with smaller balconies, the Boum Core set is ideal. For larger terraces or if you prefer larger pots, Boum Pro is perfect. And if you'd rather continue using your own pots, Boum Drip is the solution!
Are Boom Core, Pro, and Drip compatible?
Yes! The Boum Core and Boum Pro pots are fully compatible. Furthermore, all product lines use the same quick-connect fittings.
Can I combine Boum pots and my own pots?
Yes, you can expand an existing Boum system with drippers, and you can subsequently attach Boum pots to the Boum drip irrigation system.
Can the sets be supplemented with additional pots if needed?
Yes, you can add more pots to your system at any time. We recommend a maximum of 12 pots per set, or 20 pots if you are using the 55L water tank.
Are all Boum lines supported by the app?
Absolutely! The app supports all Boum products. You'll find valuable information about water consumption, the controller's battery level, a large plant database, and a support chat.
