So musst du dir keine Sorgen um deine Pflanzen machen, während du im Urlaub bist - Boum kümmert sich darum. Und dank der Wi-Fi-Verbindung hast du deine Pflanzen von überall her im Blick. Sensoren messen den Wasserverbrauch und das Balkonklima und senden Benachrichtigungen in der Boum App, damit du und deine Pflanzen glücklich durchs Jahr kommen.

Die Designer-Pflanzgefässe von Boum, erhältlich als Töpfe und Balkonkasten, haben eine einzigartige Eigenschaft: Kapillardochte, die Wasser aus dem eingebauten Reservoir des Topfes ziehen und so für optimale Bodenfeuchtigkeit sorgen.
Mit den Boum Pflanzgefässen kannst du Bäume, Gemüse, Kräuter, Blumen und Sträucher anbauen – mit wunderschönen Ergebnissen, die alles übertreffen, was du mit herkömmlichen Töpfen erreichen kannst! Die Töpfe werden über einen unauffälligen, einfach zu installierenden Schlauch mit dem Wassertank verbunden und werden so einige Wochen lang völlig autonom mit Wasser versorgt. Boum oder Tröpfchenbewässerung?
Warum ist das Boum System besser als eine herkömmliche Tröpfchenbewässerung? Ganz einfach. Die Steuerung misst den Wasserstand im Wassertank und pumpt Wasser in unsere Gefässe. Von dort wird das Wasser mit Dochten in die Erde hochgezogen. Die Bodenfeuchte reguliert sich je nach Wasserbedarf der Pflanze selbst und bildet einen optimalen Feuchtegradienten für eine gute Durchwurzelung. Komplett selbstregulierend. Auch ohne Strom und Wasseranschluss.

Wie oft muss ich den Wassertank nachfüllen?
In midsummer, a pot outdoors uses an average of 0.5 - 1 litre of water per day. This means that with 3 pots you fill up the tank approximately every 3 weeks, and with 5 pots approximately every 2 weeks.
Indoors, a pot uses about 0.1 L of water per day all year round.
Wie viele Boum Töpfe kann ich an ein Bewässerungssystem anschliessen?
Du kannst bis zu 12 Pflanzgefässen an einen Wassertank anschliessen. Ein Topf verbraucht im Hochsommer draussen ca. 0.5 - 1 L Wasser pro Tag, drinnen ganzjährig ca. 0.1 L pro Tag.
Funktioniert Boum auch ohne WLAN?
Yes. The irrigation must be connected to the WLAN once for configuration. It then works autonomously, even without WiFi. In this case, no sensor data is displayed in the app.
Kann ich meine eigenen Blumentöpfe verwenden?
Boum funktioniert nur mit den Boum Pflanzgefässen.
Du kannst diese aber in andere Gefässe (Aussentöpfe) stellen und so deine eigenen Farben und Formen weiterverwenden.
Welche Erde soll ich verwenden?
For outdoor plants, we recommend the Boum potting soil, which was specially developed for Boum irrigation and Boum plants. You can also use your own soil. It is important that it has a good connection to the wicks and draws the water up into the upper layers.
For houseplants we recommend Boum houseplant soil.
Which plants can I grow with the irrigation system?
We have successfully tested the Boum system with many different indoor and outdoor plants. The system is particularly suitable for plants that like to grow in moist soil. Plants that prefer dry soil (e.g. succulents) are less suitable. If you order plants from us, you are on the safe side - they are definitely suitable for the system.
