1. The Float
The higher the water rises in the reservoir of the plant pot, the higher the float rises. Until it closes completely. A mechanical process that prevents flooding.
2. Flow Sensor
When the float closes, the water pressure changes. The Boum system is equipped with smart sensors – one of which measures the water flow and reports back to the control unit as soon as it decreases. Then the reservoir is full. The control unit stops the pump immediately. In short: if the reservoir is full, no more water is pumped.
3. Maximum Pumping Duration

If the maximum pumping duration is exceeded, the control system stops pumping. The maximum pumping duration is adapted by the system to the number of pots and the average water consumption.
