Das Boum Core Set enthält eine Boum 3 Steuerung, einen Boum Core Wassertank mit 32 L Fassungsvermögen sowie zwei Boum Core Töpfe mit jeweils 13 L Erdvolumen.

Boum Core Wassertank
Der Tank fasst 32 Liter Wasser. Die wahre Magie aber liegt in der solarbetriebenen Steuerung. Sie dient als Tankdeckel und ist das Hirn des Systems. Sie füllt die angeschlossenen Töpfe mit einer integrierten Pumpe einmal täglich auf, und zwar immer mit genau so viel Wasser, wie die Pflanzen in den letzten 24 Stunden gebraucht haben. Im Aussenbereich reicht eine Tankfüllung so für mehrere Wochen, im Innenbereich sogar für mehrere Monate! So musst du dir keine Sorgen um deine Pflanzen machen, während du im Urlaub oder im Alltag bist - Boum kümmert sich um sie.
Boum Pflanzgefässe
Die Boum Core Töpfe haben eine einzigartige Eigenschaft: Kapillardochte ziehen das Wasser aus dem eingebauten Reservoir des Topfes in den Erdbereich und sorgen so für optimale Bodenfeuchtigkeit. Die Pflanzen haben damit 24/7 Wasser zur Verfügung, ohne Staunässe ausgesetzt zu sein. Zudem wird der gesamte Wasserverbrauch alleine durch die Pflanze reguliert, in dem sie sich jederzeit so viel Wasser nimmt, wie sie gerade benötigt. Die Steuerung füllt dann einfach das Wasserreservoir nach und stellt der Pflanze das Wasser zur Verfügung.
Mit den Boum Core Töpfen kannst du Bäume, Gemüse, Kräuter, Blumen, Sträucher und Zimmerpflanzen anbauen - mit wunderschönen Ergebnissen, die alles übertreffen, was du mit herkömmlichen Töpfen und herkömmlicher Bewässerung erreicht hast! Die Töpfe werden über einen unauffälligen, einfach zu installierenden Schlauch mit dem Wassertank verbunden und werden so völlig autonom mehrere Wochen lang mit Wasser versorgt. Dezente Kabelkanäle erlauben auch im Innenraum die fast unsichtbare Verschlauchung. Die Boum Töpfe bestehen aus Polypropylen (PP), sind dekorativ, stoss- und bruchsicher, leicht zu bewegen, UV- und frostbeständig.
Boum App
Die Boum App versorgt dich mit allen wichtigen Informationen zum System und zu deinen Pflanzen. Mit ihr kannst du das System von überall aus steuern. Die Boum App beinhaltet Benachrichtigungen zum Nachfüllen des Wassertanks und Düngen, Frost- und Sturmwarnungen, Daten zum Klima und vieles mehr. Darüber hinaus verfügt die App über eine Bibliothek mit über 3500 Pflanzen, Chat-Support, Video-Tutorials – alles ist dabei. Wir entwickeln und erweitern die Boum App selbst, und liefern regelmässig neue Funktionen, damit du deine Pflanzen noch besser anbauen und geniessen kannst.

water tank
The tank holds 35 liters of water. But the real magic lies in the solar-powered controller. This seals the tank and is the brain of the system. It waters your plants daily with a built-in pump, for up to 20 days without refilling.
So you don't have to worry about your plants while you're on vacation—Boum takes care of it. And thanks to the Wi-Fi connection, you can keep an eye on your plants from anywhere. Sensors measure water consumption and the balcony climate and send notifications to the Boum app to help you and your plants stay happy throughout the year.

Boum or drip irrigation?
Why is the Boum system better than conventional drip irrigation? It's simple. The controller measures the water level in the water tank and pumps water into our containers. From there, the water is drawn up into the soil via wicks. The soil moisture regulates itself according to the plant's water needs, creating an optimal moisture gradient for good root development. Completely self-regulating, even without electricity or a water connection.

How often do I have to refill the water tank?
In midsummer, a pot outdoors uses an average of 0.5 - 1 litre of water per day. This means that with 3 pots you fill up the tank approximately every 3 weeks, and with 5 pots approximately every 2 weeks.
Indoors, a pot uses about 0.1 L of water per day all year round.
How many Boum pots can I connect to an irrigation system?
You can connect up to 12 plant pots to one water tank. One pot uses about 0.5 - 1 L of water per day outdoors in midsummer, and about 0.1 L per day indoors all year round.
Does Boum also work without WiFi?
Yes. The irrigation must be connected to the WLAN once for configuration. It then works autonomously, even without WiFi. In this case, no sensor data is displayed in the app.
Can I use my own flower pots?
Boum only works with Boum planters.
However, you can place them in other containers (outer pots) and continue to use your own colors and shapes.
Which soil should I use?
For outdoor plants, we recommend the Boum potting soil, which was specially developed for Boum irrigation and Boum plants. You can also use your own soil. It is important that it has a good connection to the wicks and draws the water up into the upper layers.
For houseplants we recommend Boum houseplant soil.
Which plants can I grow with the irrigation system?
We have successfully tested the Boum system with many different indoor and outdoor plants. The system is particularly suitable for plants that like to grow in moist soil. Plants that prefer dry soil (e.g. succulents) are less suitable. If you order plants from us, you are on the safe side - they are definitely suitable for the system.
