This innovative controller is equipped with a unique sensor that precisely measures the remaining water level in the tank. Thanks to a solar panel, it stays powered without the need to be plugged into an electrical outlet. The Boum controller also connects to your Wi-Fi and features temperature sensors and an efficient pump to ensure your plants always receive the best water.
Our Boum app is the control center of the Boum system – here you can view all the data collected by the sensors in the Boum control system. It provides everything you need to monitor your plants' healthy and thriving growth: current water levels, battery status, weather forecasts, frost, wind, and fertilizer alerts, temperature measurements, watering reports, and much more. We're continuously developing new features to make Boum even smarter!
Why is the Boum system better than conventional drip irrigation?
Quite simply: It supplies the plant according to its needs and the weather. The control system measures the water level in the tank and pumps the water into a reservoir at the bottom of our pots. From there, it is drawn up into the soil via wicks. The plant determines the water supply itself as needed, creating the optimal humidity for good root development. This makes the system completely self-regulating, even without a power or water connection.
